Hi, I’m Theresa Huyser — a Montana girl, design-minded, boots-on-the-ground real estate expert serving Southwest Montana and beyond.

I graduated from Montana State University in 2003 with a degree in Health & Human Development and a minor in Education. My first career led me into the classroom, where I taught in a one-room schoolhouse before traveling the state as a Science Outreach Coordinator for Montana State University-Bozeman, helping educators across Montana’s rural and urban communities. That experience shaped my love for connection, communication, and community — and it still shows up in how I serve my clients today.

Before entering real estate, I owned and operated a sustainable interior surface design company for eight years, bringing eco-conscious materials and innovative design solutions to Montana. I continued my design education with solar installation training, permaculture certification, and graduate studies in regenerative ecological design, learning from top designers in architecture, systems thinking, and sustainable development.

Now, as the owner of Theresa Huyser Realty powered by EXP, I combine all of that — education, design, problem-solving, and strategy — to offer clients concierge-level real estate service. I specialize in luxury homes, large-acreage properties, and investment opportunities—yet I’m equally passionate about serving clients at every stage and price point. My background in design helps me see potential others might miss, and my deep market knowledge helps me position properties for maximum success.
